Paula B Stanic
Paula grew up in Manor Park, East London. Her work includes What’s Lost winner of the 2008 Alfred Fagon Award, (staged readings, Royal Court, downstairs & The Dead Of Winter readings 2014, (UP Theater Company, New York) Late Night Shopping ‘The Outsiders’ (The White Bear Theatre). Pancras Boys Club a promenade theatre piece for 12 ex-offenders, co-written with Ben Musgrave and David Watson (Only Connect Theatre). 6 Minutes was one of the plays in ‘Everything Must Go’ a response to the recession season (Soho Theatre). Monday headlined the Emerge New Works Festival, Leeds (Red Ladder Theatre Company) the play was short-listed for the 2009 John Whiting Award. Paula has written short pieces for The Bush, Soho Theatre, Islington Community Theatre & Tangle International. She was the Adrienne Benham Award writer on attachment at Theatre Centre where she wrote Under a Foreign Sky Unicorn Theatre & National tour Autumn 2011. Paula was one of the writers on Blair’s Children Cockpit Theatre 2013 and one of Soho Theatre’s 6 writers in residence 2012–2013. Steering Through Stars toured the South West 2015-Jan 2016, (Tangle). She is currently working on The Last Party written on attachment at the National Theatre Studio. She is one of Eclipse Theatre Company’s Revolution Mix writers 2015-2018 and is working on ideas for screen with director Makalla McPherson, Actorshop & Pampaset Productions. “Icons” was written with the kind support of The Peggy Ramsay Foundation.
Clare Grotefeld – Logo Designer
Clare studied for an MA at The Royal College of Art. She is a professional special effects technician/Prop maker/Model maker for theatre, films and television. She has worked for Pinewood, Shepperton, Neil Corbould sfx, The Royal Opera House, Glyndebourne Opera House, Theatre Royal Brighton,The Royal Albert Hall, The Tussauds Group, The British council and Shakespeare’s Globe. She also works on private commissions for gold-smithing, silver-smithing, metalwork and jewellery. Clare was involved in the making of The Skoda Fabia cake car and also appeared in the advert.
